What is Reserve audit?

An independent auditor verifying that a crypto asset service provider genuinely and fully holds the assets belonging to its clients.

In a reserve audit, client balances are compared with the assets in the platform's wallets, wallet ownership is verified and checks are performed on randomly selected dates. The result is presented to the board of directors and the regulator in a report including the reserve coverage ratio.
