Article 9 of Law No. 7408, published in Official Gazette No. 31856 of 04.06.2022, extended the powers of the Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority under Article 88 of Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102.
The Authority was thereby empowered to determine and publish Turkish Sustainability Reporting Standards so that sustainability reports comply with international standards and are recognised internationally.
