What is Cash capital increase deduction?

A deduction from corporate income calculated on cash capital increases (or cash capital contributed on incorporation) using the Central Bank interest rate.

The deduction applies in the year of the increase and the following four years, with a higher rate for listed companies. It aims to encourage equity rather than debt financing.
